Repente Artax GLM Gravel Saddle
The proprietary RLS system, a Repente peculiarity, allows you to easily replace the saddle top without having to change the supporting structure. The double base of saddles equipped with this technology offers the advantage, more valuable than ever in gravel, of better absorption of vertical vibrations transmitted by the ground.
The differentiated section rail is made of UD carbon fibre. The body is built using LCF (Long Carbon Fibers) technology, which makes the saddle stiff enough and non-deformable over time.
The padding is in EVA, a light material with high technical properties, thickened in the most delicate support points to maximize comfort even on uneven terrain, both for those who prefer a more upright sitting position and for those who often use the bottom of the handlebar.
For the saddle covering, a non-slip material developed by Repente was chosen, resistant and pleasant to the touch, which does not lose its effectiveness when wet.

INTERCHANGEABLE AND REPLACEABLE PADS
The exclusive RLS system makes different pads interchangeable and replaceable both on the carbon base and on the LCF base. In case of damage, only part of the saddle can be replaced.
EVA PADDING
Expanded ethylene vinyl acetate. Extremely light, non-toxic and hypoallergenic material, it supports the weight of the body ensuring high and constant comfort over time.
LCF SHELL WITH CARBON FIBER
In models with a plastic shell, the «noble polymer» PA12 is used. LCF technology, which uses fibres long carbon fibers instead of traditional fragments, ensures that the hull is more rigid and does not undergo permanent deformations.
CARBON UD T7000 RAIL
The rail with differentiated sections is made of unidirectional T700 carbon fiber processed in an autoclave. The section of the tracks where the fixing takes place is 7 x 9.7 mm.
MULTI SECTION CARBON RAIL
The carbon rails have been designed with differentiated cross sections, to obtain the right mix of rigidity and flexibility across the entire support plane. The pressure applied to the saddle during pedaling is always under control.
